In the summer of 1983, nobody could feel the winds of change blowing over the Balaton lakeside. The summer camp at Zánka called Pioneers’ Town was operating at maximum capacity, welcoming 3000 children who came from across Hungary and from various places in so-called friendly countries. According to the authorities, not a single child has ever been lost at the greatest playground of the Socialist World. This film tells the unofficial story of the last session of the summer of 1983.
