Corporal Ferenc Molnár (Imre Sinkovits) decides his WWII services are over and deserts from his unit, with a bunch of money hidden in his hand grenades, after it gets annihilated during the siege of Budapest, and plans to wait for the end of the war. He decides to hide in a deserted mansion, which is only guarded by the lone butler, Albert (Tamás Major), but soon finds out, that not only other deserters – who also try to wimp out of their duties -, inhabit the mansion, but both the Germans and the Hungarian fascists want to use it as an Head Quarter.
While Eastern Europe regions contries, respectively, made the heroic partisan stories, Marotn Keleti bizarre comedy idealize the movement of the surviving little people.
